Marine Gardens Bowling Club, report w/ending Sunday, 25th August 2024.
(August 25, 2024)The friendly match at Norfolk saw Marine Gardens win 3 rinks to 2 but lose overall by 73 - 71.
This was a closely contested match played in challenging, windy conditions. Bob Cole, Rob Hurst, Ken Leadbeater, and skip Rod Smith almost got us into a winning position with a 20 - 10 victory.
This was a prelude to our Finals also played in challenging conditions with both wind and rain. Indeed, play on Saturday was delayed until Sunday. The results are as follows:-

Congratulations to all members actively involved in the club competitions, particularly the winners and those competing for the first time. Thanks to all our members supporting, and officiating during the final competitions, especially to our competition secretaries, Pamela Chambers and Angela Neale, without them, none of this would have happened.
